I’ve discovered the three easiest exercises that will help you build chest muscles and I’ve combined them into this article for your ready reference. Truth is not only are these exercises easy, there is also minimal equipment involved!

These three exercises will not only help you build chest muscles, they will also keep you toned and strong throughout your upper body! Luckily, it is not difficult to build chest muscles if you go about it the right way.

However, the common misconception is that if you slave over cable crossovers and never-ending reps of bench presses you’ll end up with a perfect set of chest muscles. Consistency, effort and progression are the underlying principles in weight and rep building.

The first way to build chest muscle is to concentrate on your barbell bench presses. By doing inclined, declined and flat barbell bench presses, you till be able to lift the most weight with the immense range of motion that is provided to you. This is the number one way to build chest muscles and is a must-do when it comes to your workouts.

The second exercise to build chest muscles is using the dumbbell press. Remembering to do declined, flat and inclined dumbbell presses with your workout will ensure that you are continuing effecting exercises to build chest muscles in a short amount of time. The natural range of motion associated with the dumbbell press is also known to reduce shoulder injuries that can occur with other forms of exercise.

Lastly, when you want to build chest muscles, remember to use wide-grip dips. This is a more effective workout when you’re trying to build chest muscles.

Quick Tip #2 - Alternate Workouts

You don't want to work the same muscles every day. It works best to alternate and only work each muscle group 2 - 3 times per week. You can workout your upper body M-W-F and your lower body Tue - Thur - Sat.
